Welcome to MTB race training info, free! Searching about training right? Been there, done that. Plenty of links & info here.
I've become my own coach. Upgrading each year. Sport, Comp, Expert, Semi, then Pro class. Old & g
et'n faster!

Hey, thank you so much for the blog! It will help me a lot.
Even though i am not an XC rider (i'm a DH rider) i know it's elemental to implement XC training to be a good DH rider. What i mean is, you are not only helping XC riders, but any other MTB discipline rider!

There's so much useful stuff here. It's only this year with the help of resources like your site I have been taking training more seriously - racked up close to 100 hours of training over the winter period so far, which considering it's been below zero a lot of the time, I am pretty happy with. I wouldn't have the motivation to do this if I didn't have a clear idea of WHY I am doing it, i.e. what the goal is (building endurance primarily), so thanks!
